About Us

Adventist Youth on a Mission, (AYM) is an independent supportive Seventh day Adventist ministry based in the USA. Their goal is to ignite the fire of passion for mission in the lives of fellow Adventist youth, equipping them to spark that flame in their churches, communities, conferences, countries, and the world. Formerly the Ontario Youth Retreat, (OYR), AYM Ontario is now the fifth chapter of AYM!

 

AYM Ontario retreats are being planned by a group of youth on fire for the Lord. We are by God's grace hoping to reach our fellow youth for Christ with this ministry which the Lord has been leading us to start.

 

Our focus is on holding youth retreats with the goal in mind of providing young people with opportunities for evangelism in the local community, spiritual enrichment through youth led sermons and meetings, fellowship with other young people who are on fire for the Lord, wholesome out of doors activities such as hiking, etc.

And afterwards sending them back to their homes mobilized and empowered to serve the Lord in their homes, churches and communities.

 

AYM works to bring young people out of their comfort zone, and helps to teach them to rely on God as they follow in Christ's steps of ministry.

 

AYM's goal is to reach the youth aged 12-20, and we attempt to keep the retreats small enough that all have an opportunity to be involved and learn practical service at the retreat.
